Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery)

Drooping upper lids and puffy bags below your eyes can make you look older and more fatigued than you are. Dr. Daniel can help you look more like your alert, authentic self by delicately removing fat, excess skin and muscle from eyelids.

The procedure:

An initial incision is made following the natural crease of the eyelid which conceals the incision post-operatively. Through the incision excess fat is removed, muscles and tissues are tightened, and excess skin is removed. For the lower eye and incision is made below the lash line.

Incisions are commonly closed with surgical tape, adhesives, or sutures the body eventually dissolves.

Healing process:

Swelling and bruising occur following the procedure and as they subside the eye will appear more defined and the skin around the eye will be smoother. Final results are evident after several weeks.
