What Happens During Surgery?

The incision lines from a brow lift are typically concealed within the hair or natural folds of the face, such as the temple and scalp, or within the natural crease of the upper eyelids. The skin is lifted so that Dr. Daniel can remove excess tissue and adjust the forehead muscles. The incisions are then closed with sutures.
After Brow Lift Surgery
The healing process after brow lift surgery can take between 5-10 days, after which you may return to work and normal activities. Bruising may take longer to disappear but can be covered with cosmetics. It will be several weeks before swelling dissipates and the incision lines begin to fade. Be sure to advise your doctor or plastic surgeon immediately if you experience any shortness of breath, chest pains, or an unusual heart rhythm, as these may be signs of complications.
