Radiesse®

Radiesse® is a unique and popular dermal filler that we offer for long-lasting correction of facial wrinkles. Developed with safety, durability and longevity in mind, Radiesse is a dermal filler made with very tiny, smooth calcium hydoxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres. These create a scaffolding effect, allowing your own body’s collagen to grow, producing a desired long-term effect. Radiesse results typically last well over a year, longer than fillers like Juvederm and Restylane.
Radiesse® is completely biocompatible, with no need for pre-treatment testing. This product is mixed with Lidocaine, so most patients experience very little discomfort with the injections. There is also relatively little bruising or swelling for most patients.

Radiesse Treatment in Eugene, Oregon
Dr. Lee B. Daniel will mark the areas of injection. After the skin is cleansed, a small amount of topical lidocaine or ice packs are applied in order to improve comfort. Radiesse is then injected with a fine needle. Your plastic surgeon may use special injection techniques to achieve the best results, so remember to see a qualified physician for your Radiesse treatment. After injection, the treated area is briefly massaged to ensure smoothness.
The price of Radiesse can range anywhere from $300 for a 1/2 syringe to $500 for a full syringe.
After Radiesse Treatment
The results of Radiesse treatment are visible immediately and last on average 10-14 months. Most patients return for treatment after 12-18 months.
After any dermal filler injection, you may experience redness, swelling, itching or bruising. Follow the doctor's instructions. You may need to indirectly apply ice to minimize swelling. If your side effects last longer than two days or begin to worsen, please consult with Dr. Daniel.
