Reconstructive Surgery

Plastic surgeons are trained in both cosmetic surgery and reconstructive surgery. Reconstructive surgery is usually necessary when a patient has an abnormal appearance caused by trauma, disease, or aging. The goal is to restore a normal appearance and thereby improve the patient's quality of life.

Breast Reconstruction

Breast reconstruction, typically performed after mastectomy or lumpectomy, can reconstruct the breast to restore a woman's feminine appearance. There are several techniques in breast reconstruction, including breast implants or free flaps that use your own tissue. As one of our patients, you can expect to receive excellent, compassionate care during each stage of breast reconstruction.

Earlobe Repair

Ear surgery, or otoplasty, has traditionally been used to reshape large or protruding ears. However, with the growing popularity of alternative body modifications in recent years, more and more plastic surgeons are being called upon to reverse cosmetic ear modifications. The most common of these modifications is the stretched earlobe, which is caused by disc or plug earrings.

Scar Revision

Through scar revision, Dr. Daniel can make an unsightly scar less noticeable. Several types of scars respond well to revision procedures, including contractures, keloid scars and hypertropic scars. After scar revision, a scar will not disappear completely, but it will be less noticeable and more tolerable.

Tissue Expansion

Tissue expansion enables the body to grow extra skin, which Dr. Daniel can use to reconstruct almost any part of the body. During the procedure, a silicone balloon expander is inserted beneath the skin. The balloon is gradually filled over time, causing the skin to stretch and grow.
