Thermage Treatments
Thermage is a non-invasive treatment that can tighten and smooth skin on the face and body. It does not require incisions or injections. Thermage works by stimulating existing collagen in the face and/or body to create the growth of new collagen, creating naturally younger looking skin.
Although Thermage will not tighten skin as much as a surgical procedure such as a facelift, it will reduce mild to moderate skin laxity in patients who do not need more dramatic surgical results.

The Thermage Procedure
Thermage treatments heat the skin using radiofrequency (CRF) technology that penetrates three layers of skin: the epidermis, dermis, and subcutaneous. There is no adverse impact on the surface skin layers. The heat generates a tightening effect, remolding the existing collagen and stimulating the growth of new collagen. Collagen is essential in maintaining the skin’s elasticity.
Healing Process
Results are immediately visible and may continue to improve up to six months following a single treatment.

Thermage treatments work great on all skin types and tones. The best candidates are healthy, have mild to moderate skin laxity, thin to medium skin thickness, as well as realistic cosmetic expectations.
What problem areas can benefit from Thermage?
Thermage treatments can be used almost anywhere on the body, including the face, neck, abdomen, arms, thighs and buttocks . The following conditions respond best to Thermage:
- Hooding around the eyelids
- Drooping or sagging brows
- Loose jowls or neck skin
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Loose skin or bulges anywhere on the body
How many treatments will I need?
One of the key advantages of Thermage is that most patients can achieve desired results after just a single treatment. Immediate results will be visible and continue to improve for up to six months. If you have more severe skin laxity, more than one treatment may be necessary.
Is treatment painful?
During a Thermage session, you will feel alternating pulses of cooling and heating sensations. Most patients do not describe these sensations as painful. Dr. Daniel will ask you for feedback during treatment to ensure maximum comfort.
Are there any risks associated with Thermage?
Thermage is considered safe and risks are minimal. Following treatment, it is possible that you will experience some redness or swelling in the treated areas. Additionally, there is also the risk that you will develop small heat blisters. If present, these side-effects should fade on their own within a few days. All potential risks will be discussed in-depth during your consultation.
