V Beam Laser

The VBeam is a Pulsed Dye Laser is ideal for treating vascular birthmarks, such as port wine stains and hemangiomas, discolored scars and other pigmented lesions on the face, neck, chest, hands and legs. It effectively removes brown pigmentation and undesired markings on the skin, such as redness and broken capillaries or telangiectasias characteristic of rosacea.

V Beam Treatment

The V Beam Laser delivers an intense but gentle burst of light into selectively targeted areas of the skin. Depending on the condition being treated, the light is absorbed by specific red or brown patches of skin, such as blood vessels or melanin-pigmented areas in the dermis.

The skin is cooled immediately prior to each laser pulse during V Beam treatment, maximizing comfort and minimizing risks during the procedure.

V Beam Recovery

After treatment with the V Beam Laser, treated skin is initially sensitive but heals quickly with immediately noticeable results. There is no downtime after V Beam treatment, so you can resume your normal daily activities immediately following the procedure.

V Beam side effects are uncommon, however mild short-term swelling and irritation may occur directly following treatment. Unlike many other treatments for vascular lesions and redness, the V Beam Laser does not cause bruising, purple skin discolorations or long-term side effects.
